The 1st of May brought us a beautiful Spring day here at Ramsay. We actually have our own Ramsay weather station now, thanks to Jim Bailey and TS and their never-ending pursuit of techno-gadgets! Check out:

Jim & Mick left early morning to head back home after several busy and productive days here at Ramsay.
Clay Frazier began work on the lane behind the Farm House, grading and leveling the surface to make way for trucks, wagons, tractors, Gators--or whatever else might want or need to make way down to the marshy bottom land along Stockton Creek
Dave Roberts and Burton Goodloe continue to work on replacing the roof on the Guest Cottage.
Patsy Wallenborn & Jessica Beverage did some weeding and Round Up work on the grounds.
Tate (the tree guy) and his assistant dropped the huge old, dying elm on the south lawn.
SY mowed over half of the south pasture and noticed some excitement on the South Lawn!

Grelen Nursery dropped off some new maples to be planted along the main drive:
