Morning routines... all is well... still chilly--37 degrees--but last night's 1/4" of ice (7" of snow in Blacksburg; 5" of snow in Roanoke) gave way to blue skies, and the grass is suddenly greener--as evidenced in this picture at the Farm House early this morning.

A little rain + a little snow + a little fertilizer!

Sherry on site today with final preparations for our weekend guests at the Guest Cottage. Samantha & Chuck, with friends Tommy and Kim--all from NC--arrived around 2pm this afternoon to celebrate Chuck's 50th birthday!--more pics tomorrow. They opted for an evening by the fireside over a night on the town in C'vIlle!
